Alumni/alumnae of our club

Welcome to our new alumni page.  It's just getting started, but here we thought we would provide updates on former LPC members.  Were you ever a member of Lakeville PC?  Bring us up to date.

Any kind of news is fine:  life, marriage, job, accomplishments, links to your own website or blog.  Please do include your name (as well as your name when you were in LPC if different), the approximate years when you were a member.

Check back here often for updates!

Belynda Warren

I am working as Senior Editor for WPTV, the NBC-TV affiliate in West Palm Beach, Florida.  I oversee the editing department in preparation for daily newscasts.  I have been living in FL since 1999.  I sadly just lost my horse in October so I am no longer riding.  However, I run my own equine videography business, so I keep in touch with the horse world often.

Naomi Chambers (Golden)

Came across the LPC website and so glad to hear that the club is still going strong!  At this point, I am the trainer/instructor at Shingleton Farms in Hampstead, NC.  I've been teaching lessons and coaching at shows- a few horses in training.  Mainly dressage/event horses and a few jumper riders in the mix.  My experience with Pony Club was instrumental to any of my successes in the horse world.  LPC is a fantastic club and has always been so classic and well run as long as Linda Bushnell has been instructing the fundamentals of proper horse management and classical/balanced seat riding- she is phenominal and an asset to any organization.  I owe so much regard to her persistant need for suitability between horse and rider as well as overall quality of instruction.  I could not thank her enough for everything she taught me- I have brought all of her methods to my own lesson program and my students are flourishing.  Safely- of course!  So glad to see she is still involved with the pony club organization and would love to visit at some point!  Would really like to give back to the USPC.  Please let me know if you all would like some help with lessons or clinics- I'd be happy to assist.  Again, Thank you Linda- you are an aspiration for any young instructor.

We're starting to compile the history of the Lakeville Pony Club.  Want to see what we've got so far?  Want to provide information?
